The years of young adulthood can be the beginning of long-term decisions that set the trajectory for life. As your therapist, I will not only help you manage the anxiety that comes with these decisions but identify your individual strengths and values. This is important because the “right” decision often depends more on you as an individual, than the choices themselves. I’ll help you make decisions that honor your authentic self so you can move full speed towards your future.

A Time of Transition

Choices cause stress and young adulthood is overflowing with both. FOUR YEAR COLLEGE, COMMUNITY COLLEGE, TRANSFER TO 4 YEAR, GAP YEAR, WORK AT THE GAP, DIRECT TO WORK FORCE, TRAVEL…  Plus, your peers are also in transition, resulting in potential separation from your support system when you need them the most.  Therapy can provide support as you establish yourself in the next phase of life. I will not judge you or give you advice. Rather, I help you identify and tap into the strengths and talents that you already have.

I understand that your time is valuable and concrete results are important. This why, from the start,  I will provide tools to manage anxiety that you can use independently.  

Over time you will be able to attend sessions less frequently because you are using strategies in between sessions resulting in an increase of confidence and self-reliance.
